The media was mostly out-of-home for this campaign, so we created a series of "spectacular" units. The fine folks at MNFX did all the prop work and build outs to help bring these ambitious ideas to life.
One of the truly iconic pieces of creative from this campaign was this billboard installation located right above First Ave. We wanted to create something that reacted to Mother Nature in real-time so we built a fully functional weather vane. Perched at the top was a larger-than-life replica of All-Star first baseman Justin Morneau. Every time the wind started blowing, it looked like he was swinging for the fences.
There were some more traditional headline executions that were a part of this campaign as well. Check 'em out below.
Summer temps can get pretty steamy in MN. This print ad gave fans instructions on how to turn it into a paper fan to cool off on a hot day at the ballpark. Pretty cool to see thousands of people interacting with a simple print ad.
Last but not least, we had some fun with the stadium seating chart and the iconic Target bullseye.
