What struck me about Nabil's work was the attitude and rawness. There was this edge to his work that I just loved. As I watched him shoot, he had such an experimental approach. I've since learned it's the simple act of willing to try things that often leads to the best work. You can plan all you want, but sometimes the magic just sorta happens in an unexpected moment of spontaneity. I wish clients understood this more.
