Harley-Davidson II

My first job out of portfolio school was at Carmichael Lynch. As a young art director, I was so fortunate to work on Harley-Davidson to kickstart my career. I got to design catalogs. I got to go on photoshoots. I got to make stuff. Didn't matter what it was, I just happy to be making. This production experience was so insanely valuable to a young art director like myself. Many years later, I'm still incredibly proud of this work. Here is a selection of some photography from my early days working on Harley-Davidson MotorClothes.

All this work was shot by photographer Bill Phelps. Many years later, he's still a dear friend. Nobody understands the world of gas and oil and motorcycles better than Bill. I'm always in awe of the level of emotion and romance he can bring to an image. So simple. So pure. So beautiful. Thank you, Bill.
